Tjänst samlar dem alla på samma karta Tjänster som erbjuder elsparkcyklar för uthyrning har ploppat upp som svampar i några svenska städer det senaste året och nu har företaget Zerebra tagit fram en tjänst som visar var alla dessa elsparkcyklar finns. Tjänsten heter Zcooters och finns tillgänglig på webben eller som en app till iOS. Förutom att visa fordonens position så kan man även få reda på hur mycket kräm det är kvar i batteriet och vad det kostar att låsa upp dem samt framföra dem.

Microsofts app för synskadade blir ännu bättre

Peka på ett foto så berättar Seeing AI vad det är Microsoft har uppdaterat iOS-versionen av sin app Seeing AI som kanske ytterligare kan underlätta vardagen för synskadade och blinda personer. När Microsoft släppte Seeing AI för tre år sedan hade appen möjlighet att tala om vad mobilens kamera såg men nu går detta att göra på bilder som lagras på mobilen. Genom att peka på ett foto, som antingen fotograferats med Seeing AI eller någon annan kamerapp, kan appen berätta vad som syns på bilden och eventuellt sammanhanget runt bilden.

Imponerande! Apple lyckas verkligen få sina användare att uppgradera sina maskiner. Trots att det finns en hög med iPhones och iPads där ute som faktiskt inte kan köra iOS 12 så lyckas man få upp siffrorna även den här gången.

Allt blir enklare med Marzipan Nyhetsbyrån Bloomberg har varit i kontakt med källor som uppger att Apple har påbörjat ett arbete vilket förhoppningsvis kommer att underlätta livet för många utvecklare i framtiden. Under kodnamnet "Marzipan" håller Apple på att ta fram en plattform för appar som ska gå att köra på båda Apples mac-datorer, iPhones och iPads uppger Bloombergs källor. Någon gång runt 2021 hoppas Apple vara klara med arbetet som innebär att utvecklare bara behöver ta fram en version av sin app som sedan kommer att fungera på både iOS och macOS, appar som är så kallade "single binary".

För att visa bristande moderering i App Store Skurkaktiga appar finns det gott om på App Store och Play Store trots att Google och Apple jobbar hårt för att sätta stopp för dessa. För att testa hur bra Apple granskar nya appar till App Store bestämde sig Youtubern Elixir att skapa en egen kameraapp som skickar tillbaka en videoström till hans dator när användaren klickar på inspelningsknappen i appen. Helt enkelt en ordentlig skurkapp som aldrig borde få läggas upp på App Store, men på grund av bristande moderering blev appen godkänd illa kvickt.

Apple Dominates Enterprise Activations in Q3

Apple is continuing to make significant strides in the enterprise market and through the third quarter of this year (June 1 to September 30) the company was responsible for 66% of all enterprise devices activated. The company’s iOS platform, which includes iPhones and iPads, led the way in the market and rose 2% compared to the 64% enterprise activations in the second quarters. Interestingly Apple made the most headway in the tablet market, with the company’s iPad accounting for 71% of all enterprise slates activated in Q3.

Apple continues to sell huge amounts of iPhones, despite missing optimistic analyst prediction the company is thriving and making vastly more money than any other mobile brand. CEO Tim Cook was in good mood after Cupertino’s fiscal fourth quarter earnings call, saying the company is taking the fight to Android and starting to make serious headway in China. Cook claimed that a massive 30% of all iPhone sales in the last quarter came from consumers who were switching to Apple’s iOS from Android.
