Efter troligt fel på ett iPad-batteri Flera nederländska medier rapporterar att Apples butik i Amsterdam fick evakueras i helgen efter det att flera personer i butiken fått andningsproblem. Enligt rapporterna ska det hela bero på någon slags felaktighet i ett iPad-batteri. Det ska inte ha handlat om någon fullt utvecklad brand utan sannolikt har det hänt något med batteriet som fått detta att explodera för att sedan läcka kemiska ångor i butiken.

Rykten kan stämma Någon har grävt i iOS 12 beta fem och hittat en ny ikon. Som ni ser här ovan är det en iPad till vänster och en iPad till höger, men den högra har lite annan form. Alla ramar har inte försvunnit, men det allra mesta.

Kan bli en spännande uppgradering En ny iPad är på gång, i alla fall om man få tro kalendern. iPad Pro i 10-tumsformat släpptes på WWDC förra året så det borde vara dags för en uppgradering snart. Frågan är hur drastisk den kommer att vara.

Photoshop till Ipad

Trevliga nyheter! Apple iPad är en riktigt kompetent surfplatta när det kommer till kreativt arbete, men av någon anledning har Adobe varit rätt dåliga på att utnyttja surfplattans möjligheter. Adobe har nu bestämt sig för att styra upp situationen och kommer, enligt Bloomberg, att lansera en fullversion av Photoshop till iPad någon gång nästa år.

Windows Central kollar in Surface Go

Microsofts iPad-konkurrent Tidigare idag presenterade Microsoft sin Surface Go och Windows Central har kollat in den lite närmare i klippet ovan. Det handlar alltså om en Surface med 10 tum stor skärm vars priser kommer att starta på 399 dollar. Det gör att Surface Go kommer att kosta lite mer än Apples iPad med 9,7 tum stor skärms vars priser startar på 329 dollar och betydligt mycket billigare än iPad Pro där den billigaste modellen med 10,5 stor skärm går för 649 dollar.

Face ID kan vara på gång till iPad

Kod i iOS 12 skvallrar om det Jag har hört många iPhone X-användare säga att de gärna hade sett iPhone X biometriska låsfunktion Face ID även på Apples iPad. Enligt vissa källor så kan detta vara på gång i en framtida iPad skriver AppleInsider. Man baserar detta rykte på att det i iOS 12 finns kod för iPad-stöd för Apples ramverk AvatarKit som används till iPhone X Animoji- och Memoji-funktioner.

Så mycket snabbare blir iPhone 6 och iPad mini 2 med iOS 12

Inte speciellt mycket snabbare... När Apple presenterade iOS 12 under WWDC så skröt man stolt över att gamla enheter skulle bli betydligt snabbare med iOS 12. Det var många "2x" på skärmen och det verkade som att man skulle få helt nytt liv i sina prylar.

Nästa iPad ryktas få stöd för Face ID

Saker i iOS 12 pekar på det Det verkar som om nästa version av iPad från Apple med stor sannolikhet kommer att få stöd för Apples biometriska identifieringsfunktion Face ID. Det har ryktats om detta under en längre tid men efter gårdagens presentation av iOS 12 på WWDC känns det hela ännu mer sannolikt. Utvecklaren Guilherme Rambo har rotat runt lite i beta-versionen av iOS 12 och hittat rätt konkreta bevis för att Face ID är på gång till iPad som synes på bilden nedan till exempel.

Apple Dominates Enterprise Activations in Q3

Apple is continuing to make significant strides in the enterprise market and through the third quarter of this year (June 1 to September 30) the company was responsible for 66% of all enterprise devices activated. The company’s iOS platform, which includes iPhones and iPads, led the way in the market and rose 2% compared to the 64% enterprise activations in the second quarters. Interestingly Apple made the most headway in the tablet market, with the company’s iPad accounting for 71% of all enterprise slates activated in Q3.

Research from Canaccord Genuity revealed that Apple brought in 94% of all profit generated in the mobile industry through the third quarter of 2015.

Apple continues to sell huge amounts of iPhones, despite missing optimistic analyst prediction the company is thriving and making vastly more money than any other mobile brand. CEO Tim Cook was in good mood after Cupertino’s fiscal fourth quarter earnings call, saying the company is taking the fight to Android and starting to make serious headway in China. Cook claimed that a massive 30% of all iPhone sales in the last quarter came from consumers who were switching to Apple’s iOS from Android.
